PC games in 2023

PC games are not going anywhere; they are getting more exciting in 2023. Our 2023 most anticipated games include remakes, new entrants from long-dormant franchises, and new IPs. There’s no need to panic if you’ve lost track of the dozens of games whose releases have been postponed or anticipated this year. Here, you’ll find a list with brief descriptions of the top five PC games scheduled for 2023 and links to their respective pages. Some of the games have just been released, and some will be released sometime around the year. Just have a look around and see what appeals to you.

1. Atomic Heart

Seeing the trailers, most people thought Atomic Heart was a clone of Bioshock set in Russia. However, it is more than that. The player has to stop the robots and cyborgs operating the facility from going haywire by smashing them with guns, devices, and unique abilities.

Atomic Heart could be 2023’s best-looking game. Crafting, open-world and linear parts, gunplay, and melee weapons are available. It’s strange and seductive. It is available for a one-day free version, so you can always check if you like it before subscribing.

2. Starfield

Starfield will have difficulty meeting the expectations because of all the praise it has received. The fact that Starfield is Bethesda Game Studios‘ first role-playing game in 25 years has us giddy with anticipation. Bethesda understands how to develop a large, engaging RPG, even with 1,000 worlds in over 100 systems. It claims the deepest personalization ever in a game, including ship customization. It is expected in the first half of 2023, and an official announcement will be shortly on the release date.

3. Hogwarts Legacy

Do you think Starfield is Steam’s most anticipated game? That is not the case. Hogwarts Legacy is an open-world action role-playing game at Hogwarts, the fictional school for witchcraft and wizardry in the Harry Potter universe. Hogwarts, the Forbidden Forest, and Hogsmeade are some verified game locales. Players will also visit entirely new and previously unheard-of areas. The release date is February 10th, 2023.

4. Returnal

A PlayStation game, Returnal, has recently made its way to PC. This action rogue-like is a solo experience that tests players‘ mettle by placing them in perilous circumstances and seeing how well they fare. You’ll need to use the tools to succeed, take down formidable foes, and draw wisdom from your failures. On February 15th, 2023, Returnal will be available on PC.

5. Diablo IV

Do you desire a new take on Blizzard’s storied role-playing game series yet find Diablo Immortal repetitive and unsatisfying? When Diablo IV drops later this year, it will be the answer to our prayers. The developers claim Diablo IV’s open world will be enjoyable for players of all skill levels, from newcomers to seasoned veterans. The release date of Diablo IV is set for June 6th.

Conclusion

A few of the most eagerly awaited PC games in a decade are scheduled for release this year. As we already talked about video games that you can play in 2023, anticipation is what makes things more exciting. As Starfield is the first new Bethesda world in 25 years, it’s no surprise that it’s at the top of everyone’s list. There is a long list of PC games to be excited about but we made the list more shorter so you can save enough money just in time when they are released.
